Minolta 7x35W Activa:

This is a very good buy. The rrp is £169.69, they are reduced to £49.97 to clear. The only difference in the model that replaces this one is that they have push/pull eyecups, while this one has rubber folding eyecups. They have a fantastic 9.3 degree FOV which equates to 163m at 1000m, or 488ft at 1000yds. This is even wider than the 150m FOV of the legendary Zeiss 7x42 Classic. They are weatherproof porroprisms, not nitrogen purged, but can be used in light rain. I have tried these instruments and they are very adequately sharp in the centre of the wide field of view, though sharpness, as one would expect, with such a wide field, does fall away towards the edges. At this price they are the optical bargain of 2004, and well worth the cash just for the FOV. Ideal bush-bashing Bins and with only 7x, very steady in the hand.

I would have to try them out, I never like the rubber foldable eyecups. I have them on some cheap pairs.
